BATON ROUGE, LA – After hundreds of reports of a loud bang being heard in East Baton Rouge Parish, local officials have moved to reassure residents that it was simply LSU fans coming back down to Earth after today’s loss to Florida Gators.
The bang, which was heard around 7pm local time, sent shock waves around the immediate area, scaring local residents and pets alike. A number of windows were broken in the incident, and vehicle alarms were activated.
The local police department was inundated with reports, however after a thorough investigation within the past hour the origin of the sound was determined and the case was closed.
