NEW ORLEANS, LA – After the now well-publicized comments made earlier by Drew Brees, the New Orleans Saints have confirmed that they’re considering replacing them with Jameis Winston’s backup comments on the matter.
Brees’ comment performance has taken a dip in recent months after questionable instances pertaining to both the issues of the LGBTQ community and kneeling for the national anthem. And now, because of this, Winston – the current backup comment-making quarterback – is now being considered as the new star comment-making quarterback.
“There has to be a changing of the guard at some point”, explained spokesperson Kyle Dean, “Brees has put in countless numbers of quality comments and opinions that have been right and just, and for that we are grateful.
But performances decline over time, and those higher-ups and decision-makers feel that it is time for Jameis to make the public comments around here. He’s the future.
“No official decision has been made yet, but talks are ongoing.”
Drew I was proud of you, if you kneel to them, you’ve lost my respect forever! Along with a lot of other fans! Stay strong with your beliefs. Don’t let you make a puppet out of you, please!
I’ve watched every Jameis Winston post game presser from the time he entered the NFL. He’s consistently shown leadership, and character. The Saints are fortunate to have this strong, honest and brave young man to represent their team. He will always make you proud. It’s what he’s made of.

In other words, if your beliefs are traditional and based on your Christian upbringing, of God and his word and a love of this country your voice does not matter! It doesn’t matter that you live and show that everyday, it only matters what brings in the money and doesn’t ruffle feathers. In my opinion you are offending more people than you are pleasing. As Gayle Benson professes to be a Christian and owns the New Orleans Saints, this comment startles me! This is what is wrong with this country! Drew Brees never said anything to bring about this kind of criticism. He was asked a question and answered it honestly. He described exactly why he feels the way he does! Shame on the NO Saints organization!
