NEW ORLEANS, LA – Uh oh, this doesn’t sound good. It’s panic stations in New Orleans right now, as local city engineers Scott Shephard and Terry Rodriguez seem to be under the impression that the other one turned the flood pumps on.
With Tropical Storm Cristobal officially making landfall today, New Orleans is in the danger zone for flooding. And if the guys don’t figure out just who the hell is supposed to turn the pumps on, then it’s not going to be a pretty sight for the Big Easy.
“Wait what?” replied Shephard in a somewhat surprised fashion, “No, I thought you turned the flood pumps on! Jesus, we should have probably communicated things a little better. And that looks like a bunch of dark clouds coming in pretty quickly.
Get in the van. Damn it, we’ve got to hit all 24 pump stations. You’d better pray that traffic isn’t bad.”
The pair were last seen speeding towards the Downtown pumping station located on Broad and St. Lewis, seemingly taking a shortcut through parks and alley ways.
My son could have done better than this. How in the Hell did this happen. The both needs to be fired ASAP.
