SESAME STREET – In what appears to be a fairly large shift, Sesame Street’s Big Bird has ended his COVID vaccination campaign to instead concentrate on warning viewers about the dangers of being in or around New Iberia.
Big Bird had caught a swathe of criticism recently from Republicans over his efforts to promote the COVID-19 vaccine to the younger generation, with his biggest critic being part-time politician and full-time lizard Ted Cruz.
And perhaps because of this, the big yellow bird has now turned his attentions away to a new cause.
“Big Bird has officially ended his vaccination push”, explained Executive Producer Ben Lehmann, “And he has now begun warning the younger generation – and older generation alike – of the dangers of New Iberia, Louisiana.
Big Bird finds this a very worthy cause, and with his meth-smoking New Iberia friend Baw’t will do everything in their power to explain why you should avoid that place.
It’s an exciting new chapter in Sesame Street history and one that we consider vital in the education of our youth.”
